Blonde hair and blue eyes? I would think these girls belonged to someone else if I didn't remember VIVIDLY the nights they were born!

Chances of two Bb's producing TWO blue-eyed children: .25*.25=.0625, or 6.25%
What could account for that?

Chances of every OTHER child in your playgroup being blue-eyed: X1, or X1*100%
Chances of every child in your playgroup being blue-eyed (including Catherine & Caroline): .0625*X1=X2, or X2*100% -- I think I've got that right. No higher than 6.25%, and almost certainly substantially lower.
What could account for that?
